April is National Poetry Month, and we are celebrating with a downtown poetry walk! Starting Monday, April 3, and continuing throughout the month, there will be ten poems by local poets posted at different downtown locations. A poetry walk map can be picked up at the Library or downloaded from our website at greenfieldpubliclibrary.org. There will also be a posted map at each of the locations. This program, generously funded by The Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, is free and open to everyone. The GPL would also like to thank the local organizations and businesses who have graciously provided their window space to post poetry, and the local poets who have allowed us to post their poems.

Mira and the Liminal Dimension at Hawks & Reed
Presented by Happy Accident Theater.Mira and the Liminal Dimension is a collaboratively created original theater piece, investigating the concept of Liminal Space as it applies to our lives and our world. We follow the titular character, Mira, as she finds herself stuck Alice in Wonderland-style in the “Liminal Dimension,” a place that embodies the in-between and the strange. She is guided by many in her journey, but in particular by a spirit of the dimension, Janus. With Janus’ help, Mira grapples with being stuck in between, in her life, in her job, and in her soul.

Whether Klar is playing solo or with his band - you will leave his shows with his crooning voice and the poetry of his lyrics ringing through your head. After touring three albums internationally with previous brainchild And The Kids, Hannah Mohan aka TOPSY, debuts her new collection of work. TOPSY takes influence from Canadian indie rock, Traditional Folk and Avant-garde Pop. Born and raised in rural Massachusetts and currently living in Brooklyn, NY, Eliza Edens weaves together disparate influences of people and place into her work to create mesmerizing sonic tapestries with guitar and voice. With a love for tinkering with alternate tunings à la Nick Drake, a curious harmonic ear from years of childhood classical piano lessons, and an ever-expanding affinity for words and stories, Edens’ songs build a kaleidoscopic world that documents the parallels between hope…

The performances have become legendary to Eric Clapton fans. Over thirty years later, this film, edited from the original footage and completely remastered in Dolby ATMOS and 5.1 Surround Sound for the ultimate theatrical experience, captures for the first time the definitive performances across all the sets over both years. The film features 17 hits from across his repertoire showing Clapton at his most exhilarating, collaborating with top musicians. There are unique versions – performed by Michael Kamen’s orchestra or his Rock band – of longstanding hits including "Wonderful Tonight," "Layla," "White Room," and "Cocaine" as well as rare treats such as performing "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" with Phil Collins. Meanwhile, Eric’s love of the Blues is expressed as he shares the stage with legendary Blues musicians such as Albert Collins and Buddy Guy for classics such as "Black Cat Bone" and "My Time After a While." It is an exhilarating compilation of Eric Clapton's legendary performances. RUN TIME: 115 min
