About This Event

Looking for a meaningful way to help your community as an older adult?

Pat Sicard of RSVP of the Pioneer Valley will be at the Greenfield Public Library on Wednesday, May 10, from 10 am – 12 pm to offer information and answer questions on how to become involved.

Now celebrating their 50th anniversary, RSVP of the Pioneer Valley has helped hundreds of seniors find volunteer opportunities close to home. RSVP is a federal AmeriCorps Seniors program, locally sponsored by Community Action. RSVP helps people 55 and older stay healthy and engaged, and find meaningful volunteer opportunities in their community that fit their interests, experience and availability. Currently 400 active RSVP volunteers assist 53 non-profit Partner Agencies in Hampshire, Franklin and Hampden Counties.

Can’t make it to the library that day? Contact: rsvp@communityaction.us, 413-387-4558 or www.rsvppv.org to get started.

This program, generously supported by the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, is free and open to all. This outside event is weather dependent.
