Join Children's Librarian, Ellen Lavoie, for a fun-filled Saturday storytime for families with children 0 - 12, on Saturday, April 6, at 10 am. This month we welcome special guest author Megan Madison. Any clothes without a new home by the end of the day will be donated to Redistro, your friendly neighborhood Free Store. Solar Eclipse Party

  Solar Eclipses! Sunshine cookies! "Ask a Scientist", oh my!  Come to the Greenfield Public Library on Monday, April 8, for an Eclipse Party from 1 - 5 pm!  Sponsored by PV Squared and the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, GPL will host a variety of events related to the eclipse and solar power:  PV Squared Solar will bring their solar-powered trailer and will have info-boards about solar energy, eclipses, and other sun fun! Bring all of your solar-energy questions! Didn’t get to make a solar viewer at the library last week?  You will have the opportunity to make one from a paper plate! From 1 - 2 pm, there will be an opportunity to meet and ask questions of Jon Child, Solar & Environmental Science Expert, who will be on hand to talk about Climate Change topics, Pole/ Iceberg Research, and Solar Science/ Energy. At 2 pm, the eclipse will start and will go until about 4:30 pm.
