Wednesday Night Writers Workshop

Writers are invited to attend a weekly informal gathering on Wednesday nights at 6 pm, in the GPL Local History Room, to workshop their prose and poetry in-progress. Everyone is welcome to bring three single-spaced or six double-spaced pages max and enough copies so that everyone can read along and provide feedback. Writers will take turns reading their work aloud, with a volunteer moderator leading the discussion. Writers aren’t allowed to talk while being critiqued. This program, made possible through the generosity of the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, is free and intended for ages 12 and up.

GPL Goes to the Movies

Join us on Thursdays at 2:00 pm for “GPL goes to the Movies”. Due to licensing restrictions we can’t share the names of the movies, but we can give you the following hints:  A Hollywood actor who has risen from vaudeville to become a silent film star must make the difficult transition to sound films.  Doors open 30 minutes before the show starts. Outside food and drink are allowed.
