Generative Poetry Workshop with Adrie Rose

Looky Here 28 chapman street, greenfield

Join us for a generative poetry workshop this January. We’ll play with forms, use sizzling hot poems as jumping-off points, and get into our bodies in order to flex our voices, all in a warmly supportive space. Poets of all levels are welcome, just bring a way to write and your enthusiasm for words–what they can do and the places where they’re not enough! Taught by Adrie Rose, editor of Nine Syllables Press at Smith College, and author of I Will Write a Love Poem (Porkbelly Press) and Rupture (Gold Line Press).

Valley Tea Dance at Hawks and Reed

Hawks & Reed Ballroom 289 Main St., Greenfield

Welcome to the Valley Tea Dance. Our local dances are fun, safe and a welcoming space for Lesbian/Queer women identified people to get together and dance. We recognize and appreciate the complexity and beauty of all genders. Our aim is to create an enjoyable space specifically for women and adjacent individuals who love women. Therefore, our dances are specifically for this group. Trans women and non-binary folk who connect with femininity are part of our Community. The dances are a collaborative effort of Holyoke Lesbian Meetup and Hawks and Reed.
