Starting on March 5, Massachusetts Primary Election Day, and continuing throughout this year’s election season, stop by the Greenfield Public Library’s Local History Room on Tuesdays to copy and reflect on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. Take a break from the hectic, often frenzied, election news coverage to study, reflect, and increase your understanding of our rights as citizens of the United States.   Copies of the documents and writing materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own! This program is free and open to everyone in our community.

Karl will explore the natural history, myth and reality on New England’s Great Broken River in Massachusetts from 1798 to today. Writer and journalist Karl Meyer has been writing about the Connecticut River inMassachusetts for over three decades. He holds an MS in Environmental Science from Antioch New England University.
