Hunger Action Month Traveling Show

Greenfield Public Library 412 Main St, Greenfield

Care about making sure everyone has enough to eat in our community? The Greenfield Public Library, in collaboration with the Franklin County Hunger Task Force, will host the “Hunger Action Month Traveling Show”, beginning Saturday, September 24 through Friday, September 30, as part of National Hunger Action Month. There will be six posters on the Library grounds highlighting information about hunger in our community. Each poster will explore a different issue related to hunger, and feature easy ways to help end hunger in our community, including QR code links that can be read by smartphones. The Franklin County Hunger Task Force, as part of National Hunger Action Month, organized the Hunger Action Traveling Show. The FC Hunger Task Force is a program of Community Action Pioneer Valley. The Task Force includes community members and staff, volunteers, and guests from Franklin County’s food access programs. This program is free and open to the public.
