Mass Save on Induction Stoves
The Episcopal Church of Saints James and Andrew 8 Church Street, GreenfieldFree event with Cole Payne of Rise Engineering, a contractor for Mass Save. Cole Payne will explain induction stoves advantages and the rebates available. Induction cooktops cook faster and more evenly than electric, gas and propane. The flat surface makes cleanup easy. Pose no risk of gas leaks and reduce the risk of fires and accidental burns. There is a federal tax credit of up to $840 for Energy Star induction stoves that replace gas or dual gas-electric models and a $500 rebate from Mass Save.
Visions of Utopia with the PVS Chorus

We’re offering workshops for all experience levels in strings, chamber music, theater, band, chorus, and more! Sign up for week-long AM and PM workshops over 5 weeks in July and August.
Community African Dance & Drum
The Episcopal Church of Saints James and Andrew 8 Church Street, GreenfieldFor all ages, children through adults, beginning level and no experience necessary. If you have a heartbeat, you can drum! For millennia, drumming has brought people together in community to create peace, health and wellness. The uplifting rhythms of Africa relieve stress and help people connect with each other, as well as their own joy. Tara Murphy leads creative, African-rooted dance and drum classes for folks of all ages and abilities. It is a great time to release energy, lift spirits, connect with others, have fun, and get healthy exercise. She encourages participants to jam out and express their rhythms creatively. Tara also teaches the basics of hand and stick drumming as well as traditional rhythms from Mali and Guinea, West Africa. Participants will learn simple rhythms on the djembe and dunun drums, and play together as an ensemble. The drum circle emphasizes community, self-expression and the joy of rhythm. Drums provided and no experience necessary.

Of Seasons and Singing
The Episcopal Church of Saints James and Andrew 8 Church Street, GreenfieldGCC Community Chorus presents a full performance "Of Seasons and Singing" with Margery Heins, Conductor and Meg Reilly, Accompanist. Free with donations welcome—GCC community and the general public are encouraged to attend! The program includes madrigals and rounds about the pleasures of singing as well as other music on the subject: "Cantate Domino" by Giuseppe Pitoni, the traditional spiritual "I'm Gonna Sing," and "How Can I Keep from Singing" arranged by Gwyneth Walker. The four seasons are represented by "Sing to Me" (spring) by Andrea Ramsey; William Billings: "I am the Rose of Sharon" (spring, summer); Samuel Barber: "Sure on this shining Night" (summer), performed by Nancy Blickenstaff, soprano soloist; "The Long Day Closes" (autumn), by Sir Arthur Sullivan; and "Blow, Blow Thou Winter Wind" (winter), by John Rutter. Come relax and enjoy the music!
Here at Home: Choral Concert
The Episcopal Church of Saints James and Andrew 8 Church Street, GreenfieldThe PVS Chorus and Chamber Choir present a program inspired by the theme of "home," including music from local composers and a new commission to the words of Emily Dickinson. Dr. Allegra Martin, Chorus Director, Larry Picard, Accompanist. Concert length is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes without intermission.
