Spike will host one-shots on Monday nights from 6-9 beginning 12/12. These are self-contained adventures designed to be played in a single session, so attend one when you can, or join every week. The festivities begin at 4:00 p.m. and include various talented performers and skilled vendors. A rain date is currently scheduled for Sunday, July 7. Below is the full schedule of events for the Fireworks Celebration: 4:00 p.m. – Mixed music performances 5:15 p.m. – Steve Ellis of AfterGlo 6:00 p.m. – Dead Collective 7:10 p.m. – Fortin Family Award 7:15 p.m. – Wildcat O’Halloran Band 8:30 p.m. – Greenfield Military Band 9:30 p.m. – National Anthem performance by Adelaide Ehle 9:35 p.m. – Fireworks The Fireworks Celebration is made possible annually through fundraising by the Recreation Department. Community contributions are what make the firework festivities a reality, whether it is through participation in fundraising events, such as the Cornhole Tournament, or community donations. Currently, the Recreation Department is below its fundraising goal for this year’s Fireworks Celebration. Game Craft: D.I.Y. Board Game Workshop

Community African Dance & Drum
The Episcopal Church of Saints James and Andrew 8 Church Street, GreenfieldFor all ages, children through adults, beginning level and no experience necessary. If you have a heartbeat, you can drum! For millennia, drumming has brought people together in community to create peace, health and wellness. The uplifting rhythms of Africa relieve stress and help people connect with each other, as well as their own joy. Tara Murphy leads creative, African-rooted dance and drum classes for folks of all ages and abilities. It is a great time to release energy, lift spirits, connect with others, have fun, and get healthy exercise. She encourages participants to jam out and express their rhythms creatively. Tara also teaches the basics of hand and stick drumming as well as traditional rhythms from Mali and Guinea, West Africa. Participants will learn simple rhythms on the djembe and dunun drums, and play together as an ensemble. The drum circle emphasizes community, self-expression and the joy of rhythm. Drums provided and no experience necessary.
