We are stoked to welcome Deerhoof back to Greenfield! Join us for this night of indie rock awesomeness! Deerhoof is a peculiar indie group. Highly fun. 30 years old (not the band members, the band). Ekko Astral, a bubblegum noise punk band from Washington DC, was formed in 2021 by Jael Holzman (vocals, lyrics, guitar) and Liam Hughes (lead guitar). The group quickly gained popularity in the DIY scene, expanding to include Miri Tyler (drums), Guinevere Tully (bass), and Sam Elmore (rhythm guitar). Praised by Paste Magazine for their DC punk spirit, Ekko Astral is set to release their debut LP in 2024, showcasing their unique blend of no-wave art rock and infectious, high-energy performances.

Songwriter Erin McKeown returns to Greenfield Community College with their highly original take on classic American blues, jazz and rock in a free concert to benefit the GCC Food Pantry Corner Marker. Joined by Valley legend JJ O’Connell on drums, expect an evening of intimate songs and big beats that will stay with you long after the show. Outdoor show on the East Lawn features local food trucks with food and beverage for purchase. Bring lawn chairs or blankets! RSVP requested so we can share additional details with attendees as the date draws closer and in case of location change due to weather.

By honoring theirIndigenous Andean musical ancestries, blended together withpunkified ancient Jewish melodies, the band plays a mixture oforiginal and classic tunes that span different languages, cultures,and genres. Las Mariposas have toured the east coast andcollaborated with international acts such as the renownedMexican rock band Los Cogelones and Argentinian Tropi-punkgroup Kumbia Queers. October Media Sale at Roundabout Books

We're ready for our big media sale! This one is shaping up to be a big storm of media. I just picked up a store closeout from the Berkshires, and with it received a voluminous collection of vinyl. We should have at least 50 boxes of vinyl records, including 3-4 full boxes of 45s. We will use our perennial and favorite pattern of selling all our CDs, DVDs, and Records for $2 each on Friday, and then reducing them to just $1 each starting on Saturday morning. Book bins will be 50 cents throughout the sale. It looks like we'll have a lot of bins, at least 10, but maybe as many as 20 gaylord bins to shop through.
