We recognize and appreciate the complexity and beauty of all genders. Our aim is to create an enjoyable space specifically for women and adjacent individuals who love women. Therefore, our dances are specifically for this group. Trans women and non-binary folk who connect with femininity are part of our Community. The dances are a collaborative effort of Holyoke Lesbian Meetup and Hawks and Reed.

Franklin County Community Chorus Spring 2024 Concert
The 10th Anniversary Spring concert of the Franklin County Community Chorus, taking place at 3:00 PM on May 5th at Greenfield High School, will showcase the talents of a very special guest — 1995 GHS graduate and Broadway-show veteran Kevin Duda. Paul Calcari, who founded and directs the FCCC after teaching music at GHS for 27 years, is thrilled to welcome his talented former student back to Greenfield. An original Broadway cast member of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical and The Book of Mormon, Duda has gone on to form a production company, has served as Executive & Creative Producer for the Hallmark Channel and has developed fresh and forward-thinking entertainment for Regent and Norwegian Cruise Lines. Duda will perform a set of solo selections in the concert, and will join the FCCC on Billy Joel’s The Longest Time and You Will Be Found from the Broadway show Dear Evan Hansen. The 60-member Franklin County Community Chorus has been a mainstay of the local choral scene since 2013. In addition to the pieces featuring Duda, the May 5th concert spans a wide variety of musical delights from the Broadway, pop/rock, folk, and classical genres, including the rousing spiritual “Ride the Chariot,”…

85th Season Finale: Visions of Hope
85th Season Finale: Visions of Hope
Tianhui Ng and Dr. Allegra Martin lead the PVS Orchestra and Chorus in our 85th season finale featuring the music of three African American composers looking with hope toward a just future. ABOUT THE PROGRAM: William Grant Still's second Symphony, Song of a New Race, describes elements of the African American experience through history and brings classical Western orchestral composition together with blues and jazz to paint a united future for a diverse America. In “Credo,” prolific composer Margaret Bonds sets W. E. B. Du Bois’ prose poem to sensitive and powerful music, sung by the PVS Chorus with soloists Brianna J. Robinson and Nicholas LaGesse. Mary D. Watkins’ “Dark River” tells the story of Civil Rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer’s fight for justice and racial equality. This moving opera reflects the complexity and emotion of the time period through interwoven elements of jazz, blues, and gospel. The PVS Chorus will be performing selections featuring Brianna J. Robinson as the title role. PVS' resident musicologist, Dr. David Schneider, Georges Lurcy Professor of Music & History at Amherst College, joins us at 6PM for a pre-concert talk. - - - - - - - - THIS SEASON, WE ARE OFFERING CONCERT…
