Known as the "conscience of Hip Hop," KRS-One has consistently championed the genre's roots and principles, advocating for peace, love, unity, and authenticity amidst its commercialization. With a career spanning over two decades, KRS-One has released 20 albums, penned groundbreaking books, and lectured at over 500 universities. He founded the Stop The Violence Movement, influenced anti-gang anthems, and established the Temple of Hip Hop for spiritual exploration. Beyond his music, KRS-One's teachings cover self-creation, non-violence, and cultural appreciation. His "I am Hip Hop" philosophy resonates deeply, emphasizing that hip-hop is not just a genre but a way of life. We're starting early this month with doors at 7:00 and The Dawgs taking the stage at 7:30 with The Deadheads headlining later in the evening! Come early and grab some dinner from our in-house Salvadorian restaurant and then rock-out with The Dawgs and The Deadheads. The Dawgs Featuring Bode, Dan and Dan, a three piece featuring Mandolin and acoustic Bass and a tribute to Grisman Garcia! Then a Raging set from the Deadheads Follows.
