With a lineup comprising seasoned musicians including bassist Dave Richards, banjo player Boo Reiners, and fiddler Kensuke Shoji, Deadgrass breathes new life into Garcia’s timeless tunes. Drawing inspiration from Garcia’s diverse repertoire, spanning from his days with Old & in the Way to the Grateful Dead, Deadgrass offers a fresh interpretation of his music, infused with their own unique flair.

Individually accomplished in their own right, the members of Deadgrass bring a wealth of experience to the table. Matt Turk, a versatile recording artist and multi-instrumentalist, boasts a career marked by collaborations with icons like Pete Seeger and opening performances for renowned artists such as Judy Collins and The Grateful Dead’s Mickey Hart. Grammy award-winning guitarist C Lanzbom, along with fellow bandmates Dave Richards, Boo Reiners, and Kensuke Shoji, contribute their exceptional talents and diverse musical backgrounds, creating an ensemble that pays homage to Garcia’s legacy while forging a path uniquely their own.
