Learn to Use Hoopla
Greenfield Public Library 412 Main St, GreenfieldHave you always wanted to learn how to use Hoopla to read ebooks or graphic novels, listen to audiobooks or music, or watch episodes of television show -- for free with your Greenfield Public Library card (sorry, but it only works with a GPL card) -- but haven't gotten around to asking the Information Services staff how to do it? Now is your opportunity! On Wednesday, May 22 at 2pm, Pamela McBride will be teaching a class on using Hoopla for anyone who wants to learn how to access this fabulous resource. You can bring your own device or use one of ours! If you need to use one of our devices, registration is required (we only have 7!). Crochet with Shannon

Either way, stop by the Teen Room and crochet with librarian Shannon on Wednesday,May 22, from 3:00 - 4:00 pm. Use our materials or bring your own. We’ll have crochet hooks available for check out, too! Wednesday Night Writers Workshop
Greenfield Public Library 412 Main St, GreenfieldWriters are invited to attend a weekly informal gathering on Wednesday nights at 6 pm, in the GPL Local History Room, to workshop their prose and poetry in-progress. Everyone is welcome to bring three single-spaced or six double-spaced pages max and enough copies so that everyone can read along and provide feedback. Writers will take turns reading their work aloud, with a volunteer moderator leading the discussion. Writers aren’t allowed to talk while being critiqued. This program, made possible through the generosity of the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, is free and intended for ages 12 and up.
