Age-Friendly Communities Meeting & Resource Fair

LifePath, GCC and the Franklin Regional Council of Governments invite members of the community to attend an in-person informational session and conversation about the Franklin County and North Quabbin Age-Friendly Project. Participants will learn how the local project has unfolded, have the opportunity to offer input, and understand how the age-friendly regional priorities are being set and next steps. Come join us!

LAVA's Puppetry Percolator, on the 4th Thursday of each month, is an informal exploration of the worldwide art of puppetry. Drop in to examine puppetry's history and evolution as an art, play with different forms, and workshop simple puppets and performance. Appropriate for teens and adults. Let's have some fun! Facilitated by Jovonna Van Pelt, former director of Puppet Showplace Theatre. Donations welcome.

Feng Shui in Your Garden

The primary objective of Feng Shui is to create balance and harmony between ourselves and the energies around us. Guest speaker Helen Merena of Brattleboro, VT, will be introducing the four basic Feng Shui principles and how they can be used to enhance your garden. Helen is a graduate of the Silver Moon School of Feng Shui in Brattleboro, Vermont, and is a certified Feng Shui practitioner. She is excited to share her knowledge with attendees.
