Antique Motorcycle Club of America National Meet
Franklin County Fairgrounds 89 Wisdom Way, Greenfield, MA, United StatesJoin us to celebrate our 70th Anniversary. The Antique Motorcycle Club of America was founded in Greenfield, MA, in 1954 around the kitchen table of local businessman Henry Wing, Sr., along with Emmett Moore, Ted Hodgdon, and Henry Wing, Jr. Their mission was to save and preserve any surviving antique motorcycles mostly lost to WWII war scrape efforts. Henry Wing Sr lived and operated the Wing Machine Shop and Foundry in Greenfield, MA. He also owned the farm where his father, Chauncy Wing, was born in the 1860s in nearby Savoy, MA. This was the location of the first AMCA National Meet in 1954. All National Meets also feature the AMCA’s National Judging Program, in which members’ motorcycles can win awards in three categories: Restored, Unrestored (Original Condition) or Period Modified. Instead of competing against each other, bikes entered in the AMCA Judging Program are evaluated on a 100-point scale against the standard of the same motorcycle as it would have appeared when it originally left the factory. Gates open at 8:00am each day beginning on Friday, July 26 through Sunday, July 28. Admission is only $5 at the gate. Children 12 and under and AMCA members get in free.…
