Improve your Photography – Winter Photo Series with Matthew Cavanaugh

This 3 part photography series will give insight on Matthew's unique vision and dedication to capturing compelling stories through his lens. His workshops will cover portraiture, tech help with your camera and best practices, and how to make the most of light at golden hour. Each class can be registered separately or for a discounted, bulk price. CLASS 1: How to Make Better Photos Thursday, January 30th In this class Matthew will give a slideshow lecture covering his work and the techniques and logistics that went into the making of certain photos. He will talk about the secrets of being a "good" photographer and how to build longterm skills. There will be time for Q&A regarding each photo and technique discussed. CLASS 2: How to Best Use your Camera Thursday, Feburary 20th All digital cameras welcome! - This class will cover how to use your camera’s settings to best effect. Matthew will focus on exposure compensation within each of your cameras, instruction will also cover using still life and landscape photography to best learn a variety of settings within the same shot, **Please bring your digital camera with fully charged battery and space on memory card** cameras will not be…

Kids will learn a variety of multi-media techniques with our beloved instructor Jill Leger of Mind's Eye Art. Acrylic paint pouring, air dry clay sculptures, and mosaic tiles are just a few of the mediums Jill has for your kiddos to explore this February Break. This workshop will be full of art-making, movement breaks, and a daily snack time.
