Music Bridge: Early Childhood Music Class
Artspace Community Arts Center 15 Mill St, Greenfield, MA, United States8 Saturdays 10:30-11:20am Instructor: Liz Tonne Class Dates: 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28, 11/4 Ages: 5-7 This fun and active group class builds a strong foundation of basic musical skills through games and familiar songs. We will explore singing, percussion, and moving to rhythm, and build skills which can be applied to learning any instrument the student may try in the future. We strive to ensure accessibility of our programs to all members of the community. Classes are offered on a sliding scale $80-160. Acrylic Paint Pouring
Artspace Community Arts Center 15 Mill St, Greenfield, MA, United StatesFluid art, or acrylic paint pouring, is an art technique that uses thin acrylic paint that is poured onto a canvas! There are many ways to pour on a canvas and a variety of techniques as well. There are methods that produce organic results and methods that are more intentional. -All ages and skill levels are welcome, it's perfect for the whole family! -Classes will take place outdoors, in the Artspace Backyard, if the weather permits it! -Come between 1-2:30 pm to create your own, original acrylic painting. You will be able to take your artwork home the same day -Each class runs for approximately 1.5 hours and has an organic structure - stay as long as you like. -The class registration covers teaching and all art materials needed to create an acrylic pour painting or two!
Week-Long Youth Art Classes
Artspace Community Arts Center 15 Mill St, Greenfield, MA, United StatesSummer @Artspace: weekly sessions, July 10-28th, 2023 This summer, we will be offering visual and performing arts summer programming for ages 7 and up*! Artspace classes allow kids to expand their natural creativity, develop new talents, get messy, have fun, and make friends. Classes take place indoors and outside, utilizing art studios, music rooms, and the Artspace Backyard. We are offering morning visual art classes and afternoon performance art classes. These classes are weekly sessions, taught by Jean Minuchin, Althea Keaton, and Alex Alex Blinn Richardson. Please read onward to learn more about our classes and instructors!
