Roundabout Books

Since 2012, Roundabout Books has operated as a full-service used, new, and vintage bookstore. In 2023, our shop relocated to its permanent home at 85 Pierce Street, just two blocks off Federal Street in Greenfield. This building was once the Diamond-Electric Soap Factory, and now we’re reshaping it into a warm, accessible bookstore surrounded by gardens. We offer an extensive, organized, and thoughtful collection of books at excellent prices, frequently refreshed. We hope you will find our store welcoming and that our love of books shows in our work.

We are proud to be NEIBA and ABA members. We carry, among many other things, New York Times bestselling books, small, independent, and local presses, university presses, and unusual, hard-to-find book selections. Monthly media sales take place on our lower-lever, or outside (weather permitting) for CD, DVD, and vinyl record collectors. Our dedicated children’s room is quiet and welcoming. Our shop is cool in the summertime, and warm in the winter, and we offer iced and hot tea, as well!
