GPL Lego Club (drop-in)

Legos will be available to play with in the Children's Room every Monday from 3:30 - 5pm. Complete one of the given challenges or make your own creation to be put on display until the next week. First Monday Silent Film Series: The Mark of Zorro (1920)

This is the first ever movie version of the western romance. In 2015 the US library of Congress preserved the film on the National Film Registry. Douglas Fairbanks impersonates a wealthy young Spanish noble who, in his proper person, is an indolent imbecile, the despair of his father and of his charming sweetheart. When he sallies forth a masked black figure on a black horse, the terrible Zorro, he rescues the oppressed and leaves "The Mark of Zorro," a "Z" made with his rapier, on the oppressor of the weak. Greenfield Community College Information Session

Drop by the GPL to learn more about the opportunities at GCC on Tuesday, September 24, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. An admission representative will be on hand with information about the MassReconnect Program, and the NEW Masseducate program. The MassEducate and MassReconnect programs allow all Massachusetts residents who have not yet earned a bachelor’s degree to attend a Massachusetts community college for free. No tuition. No fees.
