Any form of art or entertainment that can be staged, in any stage of development. Every 4th Thursday with your rotating hosts: Nisse Greenberg, Nina Gross, Ezra Prior, and Vanessa Query. Signup starts at 6:30, show starts at 7. 5 minute limit for each act. Our monthly tea dance welcoming all female and female identifying persons Welcome to the Valley Tea Dance. Our local dances are fun, safe and a welcoming space for Lesbian/Queer women identified people to get together and dance. We recognize and appreciate the complexity and beauty of all genders. Our aim is to create an enjoyable space specifically for women and adjacent individuals who love women. Therefore, our dances are specifically for this group. Trans women and non-binary folk who connect with femininity are part of our Community. The dances are a collaborative effort of Holyoke Lesbian Meetup and Hawks and Reed

Join us for our monthly installment of Zydeco / Cajun dance and music with Zydeco Connection Event: Zydeco / Cajun Sunday with Zydeco Connection Date: Sunday September 8th Time: 3-6 PM with zydeco dance lesson from 3-4 and music from 4-6 Tickets: $15 Advance / $20 Day of Show   DANCE LESSON with Alice Kenney. Alice has been leading local zydeco dance workshops in the Pioneer Valley. She taught several years at the Dance Flurry in NY and at Lincoln Center and has made appearances at several New England venues. Her simple and entertaining instruction will get you dancing zydeco from the inside out. Let’s go Zydeco!!!!!!!!   Zydeco Connection has been bringing the irresistible sounds and infectious rhythms of zydeco from Southwestern Louisiana to New England since 2004. Dominated by the button and/or piano accordion and the frottoir also called the rubboard or washboard. Zydeco is guaranteed to get your toes tapping. We are from Franklin County playing a spicy mix of zydeco, waltzes, two-steps, blues, boogie woogie and some swing. We pay tribute to all the great musicians who continue to preserve, define and expand the music of rural Louisiana. Zydeco has it’s origins in the Creole Culture…
