Planning for Medicare

Greenfield Public Library is pleased to welcome Heather Hurd, a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts representative, to the library’s Community Meeting Room on Monday, October 5 at 6:00 pm for this presentation tailored for individuals approaching Medicare eligibility.

Topics include an explanation of Medicare, the Medicare enrollment timeline, Medigap and Medicare Advantage plans, Part D drug coverage, how to avoid Medicare penalties, and programs available to early retirees. This session is ideal for individuals in your community who may still be working and looking to transition to Medicare. She will discuss things to consider each year during the Medicare Open Enrollment time frame of October-December.
