Colby Nathan, Thérèse, Thee Holy Oaks, & Lamb Hock

Colby Nathan is a recording and performing artist from Southern Maine. Over the years, he has been seen fronting bizarro noise rock outfit, (New England) Patriots, providing lead guitar and backing vocals with Clay Camero, or deconstructing holiday tropes as Experimental Santa. Nathan’s solo performances are used to bring the music of his recording project, Dimples, into the public sphere using soundtracked projections, textural loops, intentional lighting, toys and knick knacks, and the occasional surprise outfit change. Nathan’s performances fluctuate between heart on sleeve sentimentality and surreal humor. “Dimples’ Soul Chateau” was released on LP and cassette June 2022 on Feeding Tube Records and Nathan’s own Laughable Recordings.

THÉRÈSE is a project from Alicante/Madrid, Spain.

The name comes from a painting by Balthus (Thérèse, 1938), and from the curious similarities between those personalities that are intuited: disproportionate, and extreme, and irritating, but no. Using autoharp, piano, guitar, and ukulele, Thérèse offers songs and shares unique new worlds.
