Freedom Café – The Country Kitchen, a new local restaurant that has been voted BEST BREAKFAST in ALL of Pioneer Valley, is a Greenfield restaurant serving quality breakfast food, lunch and focus on building community. The café offers full service dine-in, takeout, and a chatty counter where customers can watch the chef cook.
The café, owned by Jason and Christine “Chrissy” Weaver, an Iraq War combat veteran and his wife, focuses on serving good comfort food and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Their menu includes homemade biscuits and gravy, house-made corned beef hash, and pancakes, with portion sizes like “little hungry,” “hungry,” and “starving” to accommodate families. Freedom Café also partners with local organizations to provide meals for those in need through their pay-it-forward program.
