ASAP! A Weekly After School Art Program for Teens
Artspace Community Arts Center 15 Mill St, Greenfield, MA, United StatesASAP is an all-access art studio for teens 13-18yo. Teens can hang out & create in a safe, laid back, and welcoming space. Enjoy a mess-friendly art studio stocked with pro supplies, work on your own projects or our rotating weekly projects, & share a love for the weird & bizarre world of art! A new block of classes starts about every 4 weeks: Oct. 30th, Dec. 4th, Jan. 8th, Feb. 5th, March 12th, April 9th, May 14th, and June 11th. Handicraft Social
Greenfield Gallery 231 Main St, GreenfieldPresenting the monthly Handicraft Social which we’ll be hosting on the final Friday of the month at 5pm! Join us at 231 Main Street during the Arts Walk for a relaxed night of adult (18+ please) crafting and chatting. Bring something fun to do with your hands, be it knitting, sewing, drawing, sculpting, or any other project you can take along with you! Bring whatever tools/supplies you need, as this event is downstairs in the gallery and we won’t have access to the tools in the makerspace. This event is BYOB–Bring Your Own Beverage. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic are welcome. We hope to see you there!

Collage Club at Looky Here
Looky Here 28 Chapman Street, Greenfield, MA, United StatesThe Collage Club is where you can play, experiment, and learn the fundamentals of creating a collage! No experience is necessary to participate and open to all ages! All collage materials will be provided or you can bring your own. We will meet from 1-3 pm. Tickets for this event are $10 each class. Let’s cut things up, glue them down, and create something beautiful!

Watercolor Painting for Beginners with Giselle Harrington
Looky Here 28 Chapman Street, Greenfield, MA, United StatesThis class teaches you the traditional methods of handling transparent watercolor in representational painting. You will learn how to control watercolor through washes and glazes, creating soft edges, using wet-in-wet techniques and using dry-brush. You will also learn how to work with the time constraints of the medium through a simplification of value shapes- a key to success in watercolor. *Students have the option to rent supplies for use in class or bring their own. Giselle Harrington has a MFA (2018) from the School of Visual Arts in New York, and also studied painting and drawing at the Art Students League of New York and Grand Central Atelier. She is represented by Simpatico Gallery in Charleston, SC, and has shown her work at various galleries and cultural centers along the East Coast.
