In Greenfield, we officially kick off the holiday season with Jingle Fest! Every year, the first weekend of December is lively and festive, with activities all over (Down)town, from arts and crafts to music, shopping to visits from holiday characters - it's a great weekend to get out and support your LOCAL businesses.

She Said writes their own songs drawing from traditions of blues, rock, jazz, and country infused, at times, with a bad ass, punk vibe! They sing powerful three part harmonies to melodic, rocking, danceable tunes! As we move into the cold winter months in New England, let's not forget, dancing keeps you warm and live music always gets those good vibe endorphins flowing!! Donna The Buffalo returns to Greenfield!Donna The Buffalo is not just a band, rather one might say that Donna The Buffalo has become a lifestyle for its members and audiences. Since 1989, the roots rockers have played thousands of shows and countless festivals including Bonnaroo, Newport Folk Festival, Telluride, Austin City Limits Festival, Merle Fest, and Philadelphia Folk Festival.They’ve opened for The Dead and have toured with Peter Rowan, Del McCoury, Los Lobos, Little Feat, Jim Lauderdale, Rusted Root, and Railroad Earth to name a few. They also toured with Ben & Jerry’s co-founder Ben Cohen to help raise awareness about increased corporate spending in politics.In 1991, the band started the Finger Lakes Grassroots Festival in Trumansburg, NY. The four day festival has become an annual destination for over 15,000 music lovers every year and was started as an AIDS benefit. It continues as a benefit for arts and education. To date, the event has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars and is now one of three Grassroots Festivals; the Bi-annual Shakori Hills fest in North Carolina and Virginia Key festival in Florida. This delightful, family-friendly annual tradition unites the 150+ musicians of the PVS Orchestra, Chorus, and Youth Orchestra on stage for big holiday fun! This year will feature many of our seasonal favorites such as Sleigh Ride and White Christmas, and new delights like music from the classic holiday movie Home Alone. Plus, new arrangements of singalong favorites such as “Deck the Hall” and “Jingle Bells” reimagined by our very own Anthony Ferreira. Arrive early at 3PM for some pre-show festivities! Join us for a very special festive pub sing! We will be working our way through many brilliant and unusual carols from England including carols, wassails and other related seasonal songs. Anchored by the participants in the English Village Carols course led by Laurel Swift and Alex Cumming, all are welcome to sing along. There will be lyric sheets available, and a little time to sing some other festive favorites.
