Join us on Monday, September 28 as we celebrate Good Neighbor Day with “Building Community Resilience", guided small-group conversations to help neighbors share stories and build meaningful local ties. True climate resilience doesn't start with a checklist; it starts with a relationship. It’s about knowing who lives next door, understanding who might need a check-in during severe weather, and building the kind of trust that turns a group of people living on the same street into a real community. That’s why Greenfield Public Library is proud to be one of just 40 participants nationwide selected for the Sustainable Libraries Initiative’s Community Resilience Through Small & Rural Libraries Pilot Project. Through this national initiative, we are working to strengthen local ties and build a more adaptive, supportive community from the ground up. There are two free sessions available, at 10:00 am and at 2:00 pm.
