Join us on Monday, September 28 as we celebrate Good Neighbor Day with “Building Community Resilience", guided small-group conversations to help neighbors share stories and build meaningful local ties. True climate resilience doesn't start with a checklist; it starts with a relationship. It’s about knowing who lives next door, understanding who might need a check-in during severe weather, and building the kind of trust that turns a group of people living on the same street into a real community. That’s why Greenfield Public Library is proud to be one of just 40 participants nationwide selected for the Sustainable Libraries Initiative’s Community Resilience Through Small & Rural Libraries Pilot Project. Through this national initiative, we are working to strengthen local ties and build a more adaptive, supportive community from the ground up. There are two free sessions available, at 10:00 am and at 2:00 pm. Space is limited and registration is required: Session #1 (10:00 - 11:30 am): https://forms.gle/LZTX7DMPLJ2q4SRg6 Session #2 (2:00 - 3:30 pm): https://forms.gle/WSu76s1uTSNaAZqeA Light refreshments will be served. For more information, contact Jeremiah Rood at [email protected] or call 413)772 - 1544. This program, sponsored by the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, is free and intended for ages…
