The Greenfield Garden Cinemas will be debuting its next classic film series with film and theatre historian Jonathan Boschen on Monday September 7th! The series kicks off with one of the great Hollywood musical of all time (and one of Boschen’s favorites), “Singing In The Rain” from 1952 starring Gene Kelley, Debbie Reynolds and Donald O’Connor. Prior to the movie, Boschen will be discussing the backstory of the movie, info on it’s stars, technical details and even information on its first Greenfield showing! Boschen’s introduction starts at 6:30, and a screening of the movie will immediately follow. Admission is $11.00 for adults, and $8:50 for children, seniors, and students. “Sining In The Rain” is the first movie in this new classic film series, and three other movies are booked for exhibition consisting of: “North By Northwester” (1959) on October 5, “Mister Roberts” (1955) on November 2, and “The Father of the Bride” (1950) on December 7.
