Story time is back, babies! Join Children’s Librarian, Ellen Lavoie, in the new Children’s Room for reading, lap bouncing, and singing on Tuesdays at 10:00 am. Greenfield Community College nursing students and local human services groups host a fair focused on community safety. Free and open to the public with activities for all ages! Learn about CPR, stroke awareness, nutrition, sun safety, menstrual equity, family supports and more—plus medical helicopter tours, “touch a truck” (police cars and fire trucks), mobile library booth and more. Community partners include Greenfield Police Department, Greenfield Fire Department, UMass LifeFlight, Greenfield EMS, Tapestry Health, WIC, the Opioid Task Force, the RECOVER Project, Greenfield Health Department, Community Action of Franklin County and Happy Valley Nutrition.

FREE SPRING FLOWERS TRIVIA NIGHT! Hosted by the Landscape Committee of Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity. Join us, and your fellow flower and plant loving neighbors, at 6pm-7:30pm on Wednesday April 29th at the Community Room at the Greenfield Public Library for a low-stakes community building trivia game! There will also be bubbles involved! All trivia questions will be about spring flowers, both native and common garden varieties. Many of the questions will be true/ false or multiple choice, so even if you know nothing about flowers beforehand you still have a chance to win and learn some new flower facts to impress your friends. Play as a team or by yourself, there is no limit to the number of players required to play trivia. If you come alone but want to join a team, let us know and we will connect you and other players. We want everyone to feel welcome, comfortable, and most of all have fun. There are prizes! And snacks and drinks! World Labyrinth Day is an annual international event sponsored by The Labyrinth Society. Every year on the first Saturday in May thousands of people around the world participate in this moving meditation for world peace and celebration of the labyrinth experience. The Community Labyrinth Coalition invites you to join them at the labyrinth on the side lawn of Saints James and Andrew Episcopal Church, located on the corner of Church and Federal Streets in Greenfield. The labyrinth itself is non-denominational. Be a part of a rolling wave of peace around the word. We will meet rain or shine around 12:50 in order to walk mindfully at 1pm. |

Join Us for a Live in theater Sheep Meet & Greet in Celebration of The Sheep Detectives. Meet the Sheep of Orchard Valley Farms of Leyden in our lobby and pet them before an after your show. It's the Sweet Sixteenth year for the Greenfield Bee Fest, and this year things will be absolutely BUZZING - with more artsy educational fun, more celebration, more vendors, and even a SPECIAL GUEST musical appearance from MISTER & MISSUS G! Festivities run from 9 AM to 4 PM on Saturday, with the fun continuing into Sunday!
