Música Franklin Community Concert with special guest Zaccai Curtis

Música Franklin is looking forward to its first Community Concert of the year, featuring a student performance and special guest Zaccai Curtis. An acclaimed pianist, composer, and bandleader of Puerto Rican and African American ancestry, Curtis was recently awarded the Best Album of Latin Jazz Grammy award for 2025. This family-friendly concert will take place at the First United Methodist Church (25 Church St. Greenfield, MA) and is free & open to the public. This program is supported in part by grants from the Greenfield and Montague Local Cultural Councils, local agencies which are supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency, as well as National Endowment for the Arts. A three-time ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Award winner, Zaccai is a prolific composer and arranger for his own groups, as well as artists like Little Johnny Rivero, Steve Kroon, Waitiki 7 and Sonido Solar. His quartet was chosen by the U.S. State Department for the American Music Abroad (Jazz Ambassadors) program twice, touring South Asia in 2006.
