Over the course of his career, Buz has handled many complex civil and criminal cases, and since 2004 has represented eight men detained in Guantanamo Bay by the U.S. military. He has received numerous regional, state and national recognitions for his defense of human rights and civil liberties. Free and open to the public.

Fill Up Our Wassail will go over the folk traditions and co-fermentation of cider and beer with an emphasis on the British Isles and Baltic Peninsula, and will break down the contributions of yeast and bacteria typically found inside apples. We’ll also have sweet and savory apple pies on the menu, featuring different varietals from Pine Hill Orchards. Talk begins at 6pm.
