Stop by the Teen Room on Thursday afternoons to get the support you need in a fun and inclusive atmosphere:
Free pizza and after school snacks
Homework help from local seniors and reference librarians
Tech help and chit chat with digital navigator Rich Vaden
Toiletries and contraceptives
Special drop-in life skills sessions with the following local experts:
May 7: Find a Summer Job: MassHire Youth Services Job Counselors will lead activities to help teens craft a resume (even if they’ve never worked before), practice interview skills and more. There will also be an opportunity for youth ages 16-21 to sign up for YouthWorks, a paid summer internship program.
May 14: Chill with Ms. Winn: Middle School ELA teacher Ashley Winn will be in the teen room to catch up with former and present students. Play games, tell jokes and have a fun afternoon with Ms. Winn.
May 21: Trendy Medical Advice – Get the Facts: Dr. Dhaliwal from Baystate Franklin will be in the teen room to give you straight answers about medical advice you see on Tik Tok and Instagram. Plus ask questions about what it’s like to work in the medical field.
May 28: Rock Out with Anthony Hernandez
