Theater of Ideas: Community Conversations: What Keeps You Going?

September’s Theater of Ideas invites everyone to a session of speaking and listening. We’re living in chaotic and divisive times, with social media algorithms designed to lead us into silos where we take sides and harden our positions. This is an opportunity to put those forces aside and consider our commonalities. We’re in this, whatever this is, together.

What’s keeping you going? Come share what helps you find balance, hope, and possibility, and hear what sustains others.

The conversation starts at 6:00 p.m., Friday, September 18 at The LAVA Center, 324 Main Street, in downtown Greenfield.

Moderated by LAVA staff.

There is no charge for this event, though donations are always welcome and help us keep the doors open for all.

For more information, contact us.

This program is made possible in part by our Season Sponsor, the Greenfield Recorder and our Community Sponsor, Dog Hollow Press, plus general operating support from Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

All subjects and approaches to conversation are invited, from traditional lectures, talks, slide shows to experiential learning involving the audience in active participation.
