Talking With Loved Ones About End-of-Life Decisions
About This Event
Join Dr. Khush Dhaliwal at the Greenfield Public Library on Tuesday, May 5 at 12:00 pm for “Talking With Loved Ones About End-of-Life Decisions”.
Conversations about end-of-life wishes can feel uncomfortable — but they are one of the most meaningful gifts we can give our families. In this upcoming library session, Dr. Dhaliwal will discuss how to start and navigate conversations about healthcare preferences, serious illness, and end-of-life decision-making.
Too often, families are left guessing during medical crises. Talking ahead of time reduces stress, prevents conflict, and helps ensure that care aligns with a person’s values and goals.
Dr. Dhaliwal will explore practical strategies for opening the discussion, common emotional barriers that arise, and ways to frame the conversation around what matters most — independence, comfort, longevity, faith, or quality of life.
Light refreshments will be served.
