RSVP of the Pioneer Valley Information Session
About This Event
Looking for a meaningful way to help your community as an older adult?
Pat Sicard of RSVP of the Pioneer Valley will be at the Greenfield Public Library to offer information and answer questions on how to become involved.
RSVP of the Pioneer Valley helps seniors 55 and older find satisfying volunteer opportunities close to home. A federal AmeriCorps Seniors program, locally sponsored by Community Action, RSVP matches seniors’ interests, experience and availability with the nonprofit volunteer needs in the community. Currently 400 active RSVP volunteers assist 53 non-profit agencies in Hampshire, Franklin and Hampden Counties delivering meals, giving medical rides, providing money management, leading exercise classes, fund raising, wildlife management and much more.
For more information, contact Pat Sicard, RSVP Volunteer Manager, [email protected] or Ginger Elliott, RSVP Volunteer Coordinator, [email protected].
This program is free, and intended for ages 55+.
