Producers Mixer

You are invited to join us at the next GCTV Producers Mixer at 393 Main St, Greenfield, MA on Friday, October 24th, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. There will be general networking and hellos from 5:30 – 6:00, followed by the main act of the mixer…

We are going to try something new this time: Video Shark Tank! Producers are encouraged to write up a VERY SHORT video script, perhaps one minute in length total, and list what volunteers you would need for it: Camera person? Actor(s)? Microphone-holder? Bring your script with you, sign up, and give a one-minute presentation to the rest of the group, asking for help, with a couple minutes for questions. Fun!

The best scripts will be awarded crews and equipment, and at 6:30 we will scramble to get you out the door and go to shoot it right then and there! You’ll have until 7:00 to finish your shoot and bring the chip back in. It will be transferred to a PC and added to an open project, patching them together into a single video, which will be aired on GCTV and added to our YouTube channel. SUPER FUN!

So come prepared, and please BE ON TIME. Bring a script if you want. Dress up if you want. Bring props if you want. But most of all, be prepared to participate in a fast-action bunch of mini-productions that will be scooped up into one patched-up bizarro video we can all enjoy.
