Local Authors at the GPL: Sara Campbell and Shari Strahan

About This Event
Join us at the Greenfield Public Library on Wednesday, March 13, at 3 pm as we celebrate Women’s History month with local authors Sara Campbell and Shari Strahan. They will lead a discussion about their new book Did Grandma Have a Filling Station?, and the route to self publishing your own story.
Did Grandma Have a Filling Station? is the result of research into women’s businesses in Greenfield in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, exploring how they have contributed to commerce, agriculture, social and religious life, education, and on the most basic level, raising each generation of Greenfield’s citizens. By shining a light on their stories, the past can be brought to life; exploring their history and achievements can inspire the current generation in many ways.
Are you interested in publishing your own story? They will show you how it is done. This topic is sure to generate some lively conversation!
Copies of their book will be available for purchase.
This program, generously sponsored by the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, is free and open to the public.
