Liberty Tax Free Holiday Film Series: Batman Returns (1992)

At 10AM the Liberty Tax FREE Holiday movie series continues with Batman Returns (1992) PG13. Please don’t argue with Isaac about if Batman Returns is a Christmas movie, just come and enjoy, at the Greenfield Garden Cinemas.

In the Tim Burton sequel to the 1989 Batman Michael Keaton reprises his starring role with Danny DeVito as the Penguin, Christopher Walken as Max Shreck and Michelle Pfeiffer at the Catwoman. Meow!

OK here is why it is a Christmas movie:
Batman Returns takes place on multiple Christmas seasons. Gotham is decked out for Christmas from Wayne Manor to Gotham center. Everyone wishes each other Merry Christmas and with the snowfall you are certainly in a winter wonderland. With the clown gang attacking the tree lighting ceremony and the relighting ceremony Christmas is the focus of the film. Filled with Christmas music the film features a grinchy Penguin and a Scrooge like Max Shreck. In the end the spirit of Christmas wins, but we won’t give away the ending.
