International Women’s Day Celebration

Join us for our International Women’s Day program “Standing on the Shoulders for International Women’s Day” to hear the stories of the women who came before us and who continue to inspire courage. Reverand Sarah Pirtle, Carol Sartz and Swansea Benham Bleicher lead us through story, song and conversation to kindle a flame of hope—one that grows from our common bonds and honors our vital diversity. This event includes a small group activity: think about a woman—from the past or present, from history or from your family—who inspires you and bring something to represent her. Free and open to the public, ages seven and up. RSVP recommended, but not required.
