GPL Presents: The History of Iconic American Photographs

photo lecture

About This Event

There are many American photographs that have become iconic; images that we recognize and associate with a specific time in our history. Stieglitz’s The Steerage, Lange’s Migrant Mother, and Shaw’s Marilyn Monroe are just a few of several photographs we will examine as we explore the history of images that bring to mind significant events in our lives and in our history.
