Gallery Opening for “Psychedelic Filly”

A show of paintings by Emily Tatro. Emily is an artist working in painting, ceramics and sculpture. She is a graduate of the Cornell University MFA program, and holds a BFA in visual art and ethnography from Marlboro College. She has participated in residencies in the United States and France, and exhibited in the Northeast and New York City. Her work is populated by characters, symbols and landscapes drawn from personal, art historical, or ethereal sources and expresses ideas of non-linear time, animism, and the sentience of natural systems. She lives in Brattleboro, VT.
