February School Vacation Week Activities at the GPL

Bead Bracelets

 Tuesday, February 17 , 12:00 – 2:00 pm, AND Saturday, February 20, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm Beading supplies will be available to make bracelets on Tuesday, February 17 between 12:00 – 2:00 pm. Intended for ages 4-12.

SUPER Lego Club, Tuesday, February 17, 2:30 – 4:00 pm, Community Meeting Room

 More Lego, more fun! Free-play held in the Community Meeting Room on Tuesday, February 17, from 2:30 – 4:00pm. Great for youth ages  3-12.

Nintendo Switch Tournament, Wednesday, February 18, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

Conference Room

 Tweens are welcome for pizza and Switch game play on a big screen in the Conference Room onWednesday, February 18 between 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Intended for ages 10 – 13.

Pokémon Afternoon, Wednesday, February  18, 2:00 – 3:30 pm

Join us on Wednesday, February 18 at 2:00 pm for an afternoon of Pokémon themed crafts:origami, coloring, make your own Pokémon card. Great for ages 4 – 12.

PJ Storytime and Dreamcatcher Craft, Thursday, February  19, 10:30 am 

On Thursday, February 19,  Come in PJs for a cozy storytime  at 10:30 am, for ages 3-8, followed by a paper plate dreamcatcher craft.

Board Games, Thursday, February 19, 12:00 – 2:00

Enjoy board games for the whole family in the Activity Room, on the Thursday of vacation week between 12:00 – 2:00 pm. No registration is needed, just drop in and play! 

Kids’ Graphic Novel Book Club: The Moth Keeper,  Thursday, February 19, 3:30 pm 

A monthly book club for fans of graphic novels! Pick up a copy of the book in the Children’s Room in the month leading up to each meeting, then join us for a talk, activities, and help us pick our next book. Recommended for ages 8 – 12.

This month’s book is The Moth Keeper by K. O’Neill.

Perler Beads with Mac, Friday, February 20, 2:00 – 3:00 pm

Join Mac on Friday, February 20 at 2:00 pm to make a pixelated perler bead creation and see it melt together to become whole. Great for ages 6-12.
