Family Storytime with Astrid Sheckels

Join us on Saturday, July 22 at 10 am for Family Storytime with local Children’s author and illustrator, Astrid Scheckels. She will be reading from her brand-new book, SEA DOG.

Astrid Scheckels, also known for her award-winning Hector Fox series, Astrid cannot remember a time when she was not telling or illustrating stories, especially ones involving imaginary animals. Astrid is a member of The Western Mass Illustrators Guild and The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. She has won a number of art awards, including the Northern Lights Book Award for best author/illustrator.

We will also be unveiling the NEW limited edition library card design featuring Astrid’s original art!
