Experimental Night with: Id M Theftable, Dei Xhrist, Neonach, Hissquiet

Neonach is an experimental duo from western MA. Their sound has been described as “ambient, dream murmur and tranced out hypno-drone”. Low rumbled tones are blanketed with swirling, lush whispers and chants while sporadic swells and screams reach their highest sonic tiers.

Hissquiet uses glistening tones and dark ambience to blur the lines between comfort and chaos. They are constantly perfecting a style that can be akin to early ambient Aphex Twin, Tim Hecker, or Godspeed You! Black Emperor.

Dei Xhrist’s voice, now her dominating instrument, has been favorably compared to Diamanda Galas. She uses glossolalia, concrete poetry, American primitive, and belle voce with a graceful stage presence that has been known to evolve in to a physical assault past the fourth wall.
