Drop in Mending Clinic

Have a favorite sweater that has a hole? Jeans with a torn out knee? Canvas bag that is losing its handle? A button that has come off?

Bring your clean item to the GPL Makerspace on the third Tuesday of the month between 2:00 – 4:00 pm, and let us brainstorm a solution to mend your item that you can do!  We will help you figure out the fix  and maybe even get you started on your way to mending your item. We have sewing machines, simple hand sewing tools for basic mending repairs. Participants are expected to have basic sewing skills. 

Pre-registration is preferred, and drop-ins are welcome. Email us at [email protected]  to tell us what you plan to bring to the mending clinic.
