Constitution Day
About This Event
Stop by the Greenfield Public Library on Tuesday, September 17, and pick up a free Pocket Constitution, offered in observance of Constitution Day.
Constitution Day is an American federal observance that recognizes the adoption of the United States Constitution and those who have become U.S. citizens. It is observed on September 17, the day in 1787 that delegates to the Constitutional Convention signed the document in Philadelphia.
Registration is not required, but supplies are limited: one copy per person will be available on a first come, first served basis.
The Pocket Constitutions, made possible through the generosity of the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, are free and available to the public.
