Community Legal Aid Information Session

Alyssa Golden of Community Legal Aid will be at the Greenfield Public Library to answer questions and provide information about their CORI/Reentry Unit.

The CORI/Reentry Unit at Community Legal Aid provides legal assistance with civil legal issues that come up because of past criminal court involvement.

This includes:

• CORI sealing and expungement petitions;
• Pardon petitions;
• Appeals of denials of public and subsidized housing because of criminal records issues;
• Appeals of employment and certifications/licensure denials because of criminal records issues;
• Findings of “unsuitability” for certain types of employment because of criminal records and/or past DCF cases;
• Denials from educational programs due to a criminal record;
