Bridging Generations: A Civic Engagement Conference

Join us for an intergenerational conference bringing students, community members and local leaders together for a half-day event exploring how the defining moments of our times—from Woodstock to TikTok—have shaped our worldviews and civic life.
Through a panel discussion in the morning, guided lunch conversations and interactive workshops on dialogue around difference, religion and politics, empathy and media literacy, participants will practice the skills of listening, curiosity and respectful engagement. Together, we’ll explore how rural communities can strengthen connection and civic trust across generations. Free for students, $10 suggested donation for community members.
