About This Event
Expand your palate and deepen your appreciation for craft beverages at this guided tasting with the head brewer of Four Phantoms Brewing Company. This immersive session explores Drew’s creative and technical approach to beer brewing, as well as cider and mead making.
Drew has been brewing professionally since 2012, building more than a decade of hands-on experience in recipe development, fermentation science, and production. In 2019, he became Lead Cidermaker at Artifact Cider Project, where he refined his approach to cider craftsmanship. Opening the Four Phantoms tavern gave him the opportunity to expand even further — producing mead on site and exploring the full spectrum of grain, fruit, and honey-based beverages under one roof.
From grain to glass, we’ll walk through the production process — ingredients, recipe design, fermentation, and conditioning. You’ll gain insight into how different raw materials and techniques influence flavor and aroma across beer, cider, and mead.
This event is meant to be more of a discussion than a lecture, and includes a guided tasting featuring curated samples of beer, cider, and mead. Whether you’re a longtime craft beverage enthusiast or simply curious about what goes into your favorite beverage, this is a chance to learn, taste, and connect in an intimate, educational setting.
