Join Musica Franklin for a free, interactive community night featuring guest artists Andres Echeverry (guitar), Gerson Eguiguren (violin, viola, vocals), and Ana Maria Villa (vocals). The trio will offer a program of Latin American songs that will travel through a variety of genres and styles from this diverse culture. The concert will be family-friendly, educational, and presented in Spanish and English. Be ready to ask questions and have a wonderful time with these amazing artists!
Originally from Colombia, Echeverry is renowned for his extraordinary, passionate and energetic performance full of sensibility, complex rhythmic elements, and a fusion of different genres that always inspire the audiences and artists he plays for. Hailing from Ecuador, Eguiguren has performed alongside recognized figures around the globe. He holds a degree in contemporary music with a focus in jazz, Brazilian music, and vocal improv from the University of the Hemispheres in Quito. Ana María Villa is a 25-year-old performer and vocalist from Bogotá, Colombia. She studied and performed musical theater in Bogotá for seven years before moving to Boston, Massachusetts, to pursue a career in music. All three are graduates of Berklee College of Music.
